We work with some amazing charities, so we have decided to hold a year of events to raise money for them and other charities close to our team’s hearts. We felt there was no better way to celebrate our 10th birthday!
Although we already do a lot of fundraising for charity, from August 2014 we are going to increase the number of events that we support with the hope of raising a minimum of £10,000 by August 2015.
As a team we will all be making an effort to raise money by participating in a range of events. We already have some team members signed up to the next St David’s Day run so they’re keen to practice their running skills!
Our 10th birthday is today, and we will be kicking off our fundraising with a ‘Ladies Evening at the Races’ held at Chepstow Racecourse on August 14th. All the funds from our ticket costs are being donated to the Tree of Hope charity, to support the ‘Help Ruby Walk’ campaign.
We are also hosting a golf day in conjunction with IoD Wales on September 10th and all proceeds from this day will be donated to the Noah’s Ark Appeal.
