The Military Training Preparation College (MPCT) has been supporting young adults to reach their potential since the first college opened in 1999.
The Motivation & Learning Trust (MLT) was formed when the colleges realised that a significant number of young adults enrolled at MPCT were in need of financial or resource assistance. The charity was designed to meet this need and has worked hard to change the lives of those in the MPCT family since its registration in 2014.
On 7th July 2015, MLT will be holding their annual Golf Day and we are proud to announce that Spindogs will be supporting this event, so that we can help more young adults at MPCT. This charity is one that is close to our hearts and here are four reasons why we can’t wait for the day to arrive!
1. We LOVE golf
During Spindogs’ lifetime we have never been one to shy away from a golfing competition, with our MD Liam Giles more than happy to get involved! Recently we have also hosted various networking activities that have encouraged our clients to get onto the green and practice their golfing skills. With the help of an instructor we have been amazed at the progress everyone involved has made.
2. It supports our charity pledge
Since we celebrated our 10th birthday last August, we have been raising money for various charities to support our pledge of raising £10,000 in one year. By supporting MLT in July this will be a big part of our pledge so we are encouraging everyone to get involved in this special event.
3. Claire is a MLT Trustee
For those that might not know our Account Director, Claire Swindell, is a trustee for MLT and has been working with the charity since it was formed. She works hard to ensure that the charity continues to make a difference to the lives of young adults.
4. We are supporting AND participating!
Keep your eyes peeled for Team Spindogs as alongside supporting this event we might even show off our golfing skills on the day. You will also be surprised at who has a secret handicap!
