Technical information about the Spindogs website accessibility

Spindogs Ltd is committed to making its website accessible. We comply with the following status and requirements:

Compliance status

We are committed to being compliant with the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1.

WCAG is a universally accepted standard for measuring the accessibility of a website or

app. It uses a scale A, AA and AAA to rate the accessibility of content.

Spindogs is committed to making sure, where possible, that our website meets Level A compliance. We take the following measures to ensure accessibility standards are met:

  • Use valid HTML and CSS
  • Have a logical structure and a clear information hierarchy
  • Let users change aspects of the site’s appearance to improve their own experience
  • Use layouts that adapt to different screen sizes without loss of functionality or usability
  • Provide alternative text descriptions for non-text elements such as images.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of the Spindogs website, there may be

some limitations as we rely on third-party libraries for some features. As we cannot ensure the quality of third-party libraries and their contributors, some features may be inaccessible to assistive technologies.

To ensure we comply with the WCAG, the Spindogs website relies on users enabling JavaScript on their browsers.
