Who are Freight Transport Associations?
Freight Transport Association (FTA) are one of the biggest business groups in the UK, supporting, shaping and standing up for efficient logistics. FTA is the only organisation in the UK that represents all of logistics, with members from the road, rail, sea and air industries, as well as the buyers of freight services such as retailers and manufacturers whose businesses depend on the efficient movement of goods making them a very unique proposition.
What are Freight Transport Association’s business goals?
Following on from the launch of FTA’s main site, the aim of this project was to launch a mobile-friendly e-commerce site providing a direct replacement for front and back-end solutions plus a redesign and the ability to cross and upsell, a separate site linked to from the FTA main site.
How did Spindogs help?
Following on from the successful deployment of a new Kentico main site for FTA https://fta.co.uk/, Spindogs worked with FTA to replace their existing online and back-office shop capabilities. Using the Kentico e-commerce function, we heavily customised the functionality to replace FTA’s existing solution and processes to provide different experiences for members and non-members to ensure that everything from purchase through to fulfilment worked seamlessly for the customer. Everything was integrated with Microsoft Dynamics.
