August has always been a very special month for Spindogs, because it marks our birthday – we launched on the 1st August 2004.

Last year, for our 10th birthday, we launched the very first issue of BARK Magazine as a way to celebrate this milestone and showcase all of our exciting work. The feedback we received was very positive so we decided to make the magazine biannual, with one in February and then another in August.

The third issue of BARK Magazine is bigger than ever, we have increased the amount of content by nearly 30% so that we can talk to more people and share even more interesting articles about the digital world.

Consequently here are the top 5 reasons why you should read our latest magazine:

1. You will see behind the scenes of our new website

It has been a very busy six months at Spindogs HQ as alongside our projects we have been working on a new Spindogs website. In BARK we explain our theory behind the redesign and why we felt it was the right time for a refresh.

2. Find out why the world should be a bit more like Star Trek

We had the pleasure of talking to Dave Coplin, Chief Envisioning Officer at Microsoft, about his work and where he sees the future of technology. He also loves Star Trek and explains why we should take some tips from this iconic TV show.

3. Catch up with Anna Ryder Richardson

You might remember Anna Ryder Richardson from Changing Rooms, but now she is known for her work at Manor House Wildlife Park. We spoke to her about her love of animals and how she hopes to change the world with her new charity, The Nature Foundation.

4. Learn how to make perfect profiteroles

At Spindogs, we make no secret of the fact that we love food and our regular feature, ‘Cooking with Spindogs’, is one of our favourites. This issue is all about profiteroles and our resident foodie, Sean Giles, explains why this dessert is a piece of cake.

5. See yourself in the magazine!

BARK is the perfect opportunity to showcase all the photos we have taken throughout the year, so you might even spot yourself amongst the pages. This issue has all of the photos from our Treasure Island client party and we have a huge spread containing images from a selection of our charity events.

We hope that you enjoy this issue and please let us know what features you loved reading!

See you in February!
