The most interesting thing about the iPhone 6 that I immediately noticed, when I unboxed it, was how light it was. Even though it’s 17g heavier than the iPhone 5s it feels much lighter. It is also thin! At 6.9mm, there isn’t really much on the market that is thinner. This all complements the great feel of the phone.  The edges are very smooth and they give a wonderful feel. I have been using it for over 2 weeks now and I am very impressed with the resolution and the size of the screen.
A positive change from the previous iPhone models is that the power button has been moved to the side of the phone, which is very handy now that the phone size has increased. Talking about the size of the phone and the screen, a very useful addition is that a double-tap, or -touch, (notice I didn’t say double-press, as that activates the app switcher) of the home button, will move the top half of content on the screen down to the bottom half of the screen, making it usable with one hand.
The camera has been improved and I am sure any photography lovers will appreciate the quality of the pictures. The only gripe I have about the iPhone 6, is that I am not keen on the camera lens poking out. But it is something I can overlook as I don’t feel it when I am using the phone (unless I leave it on a table!).
So, as compressed as my review may seem, this is all I have to offer on the iPhone 6 . Even though I am satisfied with the phone overall I hope the next model will have a reduced bezel size!
