Welcome to The 2019 Roundup!

It’s almost the end of the month which usually calls for a monthly roundup, but as it’s December, we thought we’d go the whole hog and review our entire year… hold on to your seats, a lot has happened for Spindogs in 2019!

Websites

This year, we launched 41 websites! We wouldn’t expect you to scroll through all 41 of them, so here’s just a few to feast your eyes upon:

The Spindogs family

If you’re following us on social media, you’ve probably noticed that the family has grown significantly this year. We’ve said some sad goodbyes to a couple of the gang, but we’ve welcomed a whopping 21 new members of staff this year. The dust is starting to settle as everyone is taking real ownership of their roles and we’ve well and truly bonded over one hell of a Christmas party!

Partnerships

We also decided it was about time to make things official with Umbraco, who have welcomed us into their Gold Partner club. This not only adds to our portfolio of technical expertise, but it also positions us as industry experts when it comes to using the friendly CMS.

Not to mention that we also happen to have one of their MVP’s working for us… no biggie.

Here’s what Umbraco had to say about us:

“Since Spindogs started using Umbraco, the company has grown at a rapid rate and has also become more involved with the community. Spindogs being Umbraco Gold Partner means a stronger and closer relationship, one where we can ensure proper assistance in their continued growth adventure. I look forward to an exciting partnership ahead! Welcome to the family.”

AND…

2019 Roundup2 – Spindogs

An existing partnership with Kentico saw us win our second Site of the Month in May 2019 with our recent work with FTA, you can read all about it here.

We also welcomed 3 more (now totalling 4) Kentico Certified Marketers into the fold in Account Managers, Esme and James and Graduate Digital Marketer, Fabrizio… congratulations all!

2019 Roundup3 – Spindogs

We turned 15!

August 2019 saw the company turn 15 years old, this milestone was a time for reflecting on our humble beginnings. You can read about where it all began in our 15 Years of Spindogs blog here.

It was also the perfect opportunity for a bit of cake, a birthday competition, a company trip to The Celtic Manor, a chance to say thank you to everyone who’s worked with and for us over the years as well as marking the start of our 15 Charities for 15 Years campaign.

Events

We also hosted 31 events and there’s no signs of slowing down! We already have another 30 in the diary for the year to come so whether you’re after something creative, a chance to learn from our in-house experts or to listen to talks from industry professions, there’s something for everyone!

We also held our annual summer party and this time it was a festival theme. With brilliant artwork from our design team, the awesome venue of Tramshed, music from Brass12, face painting, games and fresh pizza from Ffwrnes… needless to say, we had a blast!

2019 Roundup5 – Spindogs

Online marketing

We’ve welcomed three new members to our Online Marketing team this year and it’s been a relief to have all hands on deck; We’ve run over 340 digital marketing campaigns as well as the launch of our free SEO audit as well as numerous SEO, PPC and Google Analytics training classes which you can find out more about here.

And finally…

2019 Roundup6 – Spindogs

As a lovely round off for the year, we quoted for our 10,000th project which serves as a great reminder of how far the company has come in its 15 years of service.

We’d like to finish this blog post with a huge thank you to everyone who’s been a part of the journey in 2019 and we look forward to working with you in 2020!
