Another month has flown by and (it feels like we say this every month… BUT) things are unbelievably busy at the HQ.

Christmas campaigns, decorating, events and activities have been underway. Websites have been designed, built and have gone live. Marketing campaigns are flying out left, right and centre. Training classes have been held and attended. An office photoshoot has been done AND we’ve welcomed four new starters!

Did you hold your breath for all of that, too??

November’s featured websites

Take a look at a few of our favourite launches this month!

Recruitment

November saw us welcome four more new starters who are all settling into the family nicely.

So, who’s new on the block?

Abigail Phillips joined us a Content and UX Strategist, Adam Chapman joined us as a PHP Team Leader and Mansel Davies & Ross Horsey joined us as Developers, taking Spindogs to 59 members of staff before the end of 2019… yikes!

BIMA Digital Day

Digital Marketer, Emily Lewis, Marketing Manager, Emily Harris and Developer, Chris Law went to Cardiff High School to teach as part of the BIMA digital day, they were blown away by how much the kids already knew and were surprised to find they were even able to join in with some of Chris’s dev jokes which are lost on most people in the office… LOLCODE anyone?!

Kentico EMS event

As Kentico Gold partners, we want to make sure all our Kentico clients are getting the most out of their system. We hosted an event in London in collaboration with Kentico themselves to go over some of the latest features. As our geographical reach is expanding, it’s important to us to make sure that all clients are able to benefit from the events we put on, so off to London we went!

Spinclass

This month, Paid Advertising Strategist, Rhiannon, ran our first ever Spinclass (not the type you might be thinking of).

Spinclass is a brand new series of events (similar to the Breakfast Briefings of Spindogs past) designed to give our clients a quick hit of morning marketing gold. The first one focused on Optimising your Campaigns for Christmas.

Don’t worry if you missed it, you can read our top tips in the blog mentioned below!

The Club

We also hosted our exclusive client event, The Club, which is a chance for senior marketers to meet, mingle and learn. Laura Harvey from Monmouthshire Building Society gave an incredibly insightful talk on the process of re-branding while retaining customer trust followed by a Q&A which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Office photoshoot

We’re lucky enough to live across the hall from the talented bunch at Magenta Photography who came in to do our 2019 office photoshoot. With the influx of new staff members, we wanted to reflect how much the team and office have grown and evolved in the past year… and don’t they look great?

Charity

As our 15 charities for 15 years campaign continues, this month we chose to focus on supporting Women’s Aid on International Day of Elimination of Violence Against Women by doing a night walk to raise awareness.

We had a brilliant turn out, despite the rain, so thank you to all who came and a big thank you to Tash, one of our very talented designers, who created this brilliant artwork to support the cause!
