October’s gone almost as quickly as it came and there’s definitely a chill in the air! Emergency blankets have been supplied, the heating is on and things are feeling suspiciously spoOky at the HQ… read on… if you dare…

October’s featured websites

As always, this month we wanted to showcase a few of our favourite launches, take a look below.

Recruitment

More troops joined us this month, taking the Spindogs clan up to 59, there’s been a big office reshuffle to fit all our newbies in and everyone’s settling in nicely, we’ve even managed to find space for the next 3 joining in November… if we all breathe in… a lot.

A huge Spindogs welcome to Ruth, who joined our Project Management team at the end of September and Tegan & Lewis who join our Development teams this month.

Events

This month, we hosted our very first event in collaboration with The DMA, Creative Club- Cardiff, which was a huge success. With beers, pizza and talks from Head of Brand and Digital, Beth Meade from Wales Millennium Centre and Spindogs Head of Design Matt Gadd, we opened the HQ doors to the public to talk all things branding.

White paper launch

In line with our Branding event (it’s as though someone planned it?!) October also saw the launch of our third White Paper in the Spinsights Presents series: Creating a Brand With Impact. Covering everything from branding do’s and don’ts to the application of brand in a digital environment.

Don’t panic if you missed it, you can download your copy here!

Halloweeeeeeen!

We couldn’t let All Hallows’ Eve sneak past without a campaign to give you chills… we wanted to create something fun, useful and let’s be honest, share-able so went for a Halloween themed fortune teller to share ideas for social media posts.

We’ve absolutely loved seeing our clients getting involved!

Can’t for the life of you remember how to put this thing together? Don’t panic, we made a video to help… sound on for maximum spooks.

Charity

As our 15 charities for 15 years campaign continues, this month we chose to focus on Penarth Live at Home Scheme in honour of age positivity week who enable older people to stay living independently in their own homes for as long as possible, with the best possible quality of life. We sent them a week’s worth of activities and presents to enjoy and the pictures we got in return have melted our hearts just a little…

You can check out more of the amazing work they do here.

Blog-ception

Wouldn’t be a roundup without some blogs within a blog now, would it?!

That’s all for now, see you guys and ghouls in November!
