Andy, our Director of Client Services, joined Spindogs in November 2020, bringing with him over 22 years of comms and marketing agency experience.

The most transferable skill he brings from his previous roles is the ability to listen to clients and build relationships based on mutual respect. He’s big on steering clear of some of the falseness that can sometimes be wrapped up in client/agency relationships and he’s a believer in the idea that people buy people. He’s creative, enthusiastic and empathetic by nature.

Straight out of University, Andy landed a job in a PR agency as maternity cover in the post room and has never looked back. His career has since seen him work with B2C and B2B businesses to deliver communication and content-marketing campaigns on a regional, national and global basis. Andy’s experience spans a wide range of sectors including technology, tools, packaging, food processing, charity and finance.

His role as Director of Client Services makes him responsible for ensuring we’re creating and maintaining relationships with our clients that provide benefits on both sides. He loves that this gives him the chance to work with, and have an impact on, many different areas of our business. Over the years he’s progressed through the ranks from project delivery, to project management, to strategic direction and has enjoyed every step.

Andy’s biggest career achievement to date has been leading a team that delivered The World’s First Pantomime via Skype for life-limited children at Great Ormond Street Hospital. His team came up with the original idea and then co-ordinated delivery across three organisations, two continents, and opposite ends of the M4!
