The client approached us looking for a new website, hosting of the website and some content proofreading, all services we were able to offer as a full-service agency.
The main goal of the website was that it needed to represent the full scope and range of services of F P Hurley. It needed to showcase them as the established and successful company that they are within the industry, not the new kid on the block!
They’re experts at what they do and a website that portrays this was an integral part of their business strategy. The website is also not a lead generation tool, the main purpose is to elevate their image and credibility should a company who they’ve tendered for Googles them, or a local authority/council performs checks on them.
They needed the website to be easy to navigate and have a concise sitemap. It needed to be responsive on mobile and tablet and they wanted to communicate the information on the website in a more updated and visual way.
It was also hugely important to them that they could update their content via a CMS, something they were having difficulty with on their old website.

Before starting the site, we wireframed and agreed on a sitemap with the client which allowed us to fully understand the website’s user journeys and needs.
We then went on to build them a WordPress site that was easy to use but also gave full control when it came to updating and editing content and our in-house experts were able to offer the F P Hurley team training on the CMS to give them the confidence to update the website themselves.
We provided them with a series of easy to use and flexible content blocks that they could drop into pages to break up the text and make the content more visually engaging.
We decided that building a video banner into the homepage of the new website would be a quick, effective and visual way of not only bringing F P Hurley’s services to life but also capturing the breadth of their service offerings too.
We tackled the mobile aspect by designing the mobile version of the homepage and menu and then carrying these designs through the rest of the website build.
Once the client had uploaded their content, our digital marketing team were able to offer a proofreading service to ensure everything was perfect. It had been a few years since F P Hurley had been through a web project so it was important to them that an expert had a final review of the content, we were able to offer a few grammatical and technical observations but they had done a brilliant job of it themselves.
