The Client

Oxentia works in partnership with individuals and teams to build capacity, develop capability and create opportunities to enable innovation.

Oxentia started life as an operating division of Oxford University Innovation, the technology transfer company of the University of Oxford. Their roots are in Oxford, but their outlook is global – since 2004 they have supported and empowered clients in over 70 countries.

Diversity drives innovation and their clients are as diverse as their work; from universities and governments to inventors and investors, early-career researchers and FTSE 250 R&D teams to charities and investment banks. Oxentia help bring new ideas to life.

The Brief

Oxentia came to us wanting to upgrade their current website. They were specifically after a more professional and fresh look that they felt represented them more appropriately. It was important that Spindogs was responsible for the full project delivery, from design and build through to training and hosting.

The Solution

We had previously worked with Camilla (Project & Marketing Coordinator) when Oxentia was providing consultancy on the new Royal Academy of Engineering website (another one of ours!). Thanks to this, and having seen the possibilities Spindogs could provide, Oxentia were able to direct us on implementing a number of design iterations that really gave a site that worked for them.

We decided a WordPress website was most appropriate for their needs, and with this, we were able to offer bespoke WordPress training to the Oxentia staff from our Support Team so that they’d be comfortable navigating the website and uploading content where needed.

“Just a note from me to say thanks very much, it’s been (and still is) a pleasure working with you both! We’re delighted with our new site and very thankful for all the hard work the Spindogs team put in to get it all ship-shape.”
