Saturday 6th April saw our Managing Director, Liam Giles, sit on the panel for an event held by the Welsh Music Foundation.
The event, which took place at the Wales Millennium Centre, was aimed at artists and music managers in Wales, with an aim to promote how digital technology can be used to help music acts increase their fan base. The Welsh Music Foundation were looking to highlight the essential understanding of websites, social media and online marketing, amongst other topics, which turned out to be very successful!
Stuart Worthington led the session by discussing the common topics where issues are often found, in front of the audience of around 50 people, including managers, promoters and music acts. The audience were highly engaged whilst Stuart asked Liam and WMF Chairman Alan James, who also sat on the panel, to pitch in with their expert advice and opinions!
With the audience showing a particular interest in Search Engine Optimisation and how they would be able to promote their company or acts via Google, Liam focussed primarily on the technicalities of SEO and how audience members were able to make this work for their own sites!
Big thanks go to the Welsh Music Foundation for inviting us to be part of a great event!
