Abigail joined the Spindogs club in November 2019 as a Content and UX Strategist, bringing with her over eight years of experience in eCommerce and content marketing.
Her career started with a degree in Fashion Promotion which led her onto a Masters in Interactive Journalism (which, if you’re wondering is essentially learning how to write for online!). From there, Abigail headed to the big smoke to work for some notable names such as Oliver Bonas and Harvey Nichols which were some of the highlights of her career so far (she admits that the sample sales and discounts MIGHT have had something to do with that…).
Abigail notes that her most transferable skill between client-side to agency has been her ability to work under pressure. Her roles have previously called on quick reactions, reacting to news outbreaks on social media and getting content out within tight timeframes, something she’s always enjoyed the buzz of!
Her favourite part of her role at Spindogs is working on brand discovery workshops, she loves helping brands develop their persona, values and tone of voice.
Abigail describes herself as cool, calm and collected which is brilliant for us because the ability to work under pressure and keep in high spirits is a must for the bustling atmosphere at the HQ!
As a self-proclaimed fashionista, Abigail loves shopping in her spare time, but she’s always on the hunt for good places to eat (especially if they involve burgers!) and also enjoys trying new fitness classes and walking (to work off the burgers).
