DVS quickly established itself as one of Europe’s most successful multi-brand distributors of electronic surveillance products and Europe’s Largest Hikvision Distributor. The Brief

DVS wanted to create an app for their Installers. The app needed to have quick access to the main features from the website for their Installers to be able to calculate storage requirements quickly, have the functionality to be able to pay for a quote, download a user manual when required and to have contact details of their account managers to hand.

The Solution

We created an API and built an iOS and Android app for the client, we included the main features requested in the brief, we gave them the ability to calculate storage, pay for quotes quickly and easily, access their account manager contact details and the added extra of the ability to submit a technical call back request.

We were also tasked to ensure the app could provide manuals of the products the client sells, so we created a custom solution so they can upload the manuals and manage them in WordPress which then gives the ability to download the manuals in the app.

On top of this we also built the capability for the client to send push notifications to the users of their app. The client had 3 options of who they wanted to send push notifications to, logged out users, logged in users and individual customer accounts.
